Hip surgery

Complex hip replacementThe most common reason behind hip complaints is signs of wear (arthrosis). We can treat this conservatively (balneology), with physiotherapy or with injections, of hyaluronic acid for example.

Artificial hip joints

However, if osteoarthritis is already so far advanced that any movement hurts and leads to a restriction of movement, we recommend discussing a hip replacement. Total hip replacement is an excellent method that has been tried and tested over many years. Free of pain, you can regain a good quality of life.

Conditions in newborn babies

At our practice, we also examine the hips of newborn babies. Using ultrasound and clinical diagnosis we can detect and treat congenital hip disorders (hip dysplasia), which have become rare nowadays but do still occur, at an early stage.
